Report on Activities 2020-2021

During last period ending March 2021 we had

  • ±30 Children from 3 months to 3 years at the Crèche.

We accepted 3 new infants; 8 children over 03 years left to join pre-schools.

The Roof  of the building of the DEDUNU Crèche (down stairs) and Anton and Yvonne’s residence (upstairs) has not been renovated since completion of the building end 1995.

The estimated cost of the total renovation of the roof including replacement of tiles,cross beams,gutters and pelmets is approximately LKR 1,000,000 (Euro 4,200).

Report on Activities 2013-2014

During last period ending March 2014 we had

  • ±30 Children from 3 months to 3 years at the Crèche.

We accepted 10 new infants; 8 children over 03 years left to join pre-schools.

We had no major investments or repairs.

We had over 20 breakdowns of public electricity supply within the above period, varying from 01 hour to 08 hours, causing disruption of the normal work, leading to insufficient ventilation and discomfort for children and the workers, besides being a severe hindrance to official work and computer oriented assignments.

For better security and quality we intend to study the possibility of installing an emergency electricity supply.
